Complaints Procedure
Warranty Period
A warranty period of 24 months is provided for all goods.
The warranty does not cover the following cases:
- Goods were damaged due to improper or unprofessional handling,
- Goods were damaged by natural elements,
- Goods were damaged due to normal wear and tear.
The warranty period begins upon the Buyer’s receipt of the goods and may be extended by the time the goods were under warranty repair. In the case of an exchange of goods, a new warranty period of 24 months starts from the date the Buyer receives the new goods.
Claims and Their Application
If a defect occurs during the warranty period, the Buyer, depending on the nature of the defect, has the following rights when claiming the warranty:
- If the defect is removable, the right to free, proper, and timely removal of the defect, the right to exchange the defective goods, unless this is unreasonable due to the nature of the defect, and if such an exchange is not possible, the right to a reasonable discount from the purchase price or the right to withdraw from the purchase contract,
- If the defect is irreparable and prevents the proper use of the goods, the right to exchange the defective goods or the right to withdraw from the purchase contract,
- If the defect is removable but occurs in large numbers or repeatedly and prevents the proper use of the goods, the right to exchange the defective goods or to withdraw from the purchase contract,
- If the defect is irreparable and does not prevent the proper use of the goods, and the Buyer does not require the exchange of the item, the right to a reasonable discount from the purchase price or the right to withdraw from the purchase contract.
The Buyer is obliged to inspect the delivered goods and inform the Seller of any defects without undue delay. The Buyer can report a valid claim in one of the following ways:
- By email to the Seller’s email address: info@manaberec.com
- By post to the Seller’s address: Mariana Berec, Květoslava Mašity 291, 252 31 Všenory, Czech Republic, and then send or deliver the defective goods (in appropriate packaging) along with a description of the defect and a copy of the sales document to the Seller’s address: Mariana Berec, Květoslava Mašity 291, 252 31 Všenory, Czech Republic
The Seller will decide on the claim without undue delay after receiving the defective goods, but no later than 30 days from the date the claim is made, unless the Seller and the consumer agree on a longer period. The defect will also be removed within this period if the defect is being rectified by the Seller. If the deadline for resolving the claim is not met, the Buyer will have the same rights as if the defect were irreparable.
The Seller will inform the Buyer of the resolution of the claim via email. The Buyer can inquire about the progress of the claim by calling the phone number: +420 607 927 265
In the case of a valid claim, the Seller will cover the minimum costs associated with sending the goods back. If the Buyer chooses a more expensive delivery method for the return of the defective goods compared to regular postal delivery or another cheapest option, the Seller will only reimburse the Buyer an amount corresponding to the cost of the cheapest delivery option that could have been used by the Buyer.
In the case of an invalid claim, the Seller is required to send the Buyer a written explanation of the claim rejection, and the Buyer will not be entitled to compensation for the costs related to the claim process.
